What we make

Mock Screenshots is a suite of pixel-perfect, device-accurate screenshot generators. Pick a platform — iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, X and more — choose the exact phone, and get a screenshot that matches the real app down to the status bar, bubble geometry and read receipts. Every free export carries a visible watermark and is clearly fictional.

Why we built it

Existing generators look “good enough” — obviously fake fonts, generic frames, no real device selection. We think the interesting problem is the opposite one:realism as a craft. Getting the chrome exactly right is genuinely hard, and it's what makes a mockup useful for a chat-story video, a media-literacy lesson, a UI portfolio piece or a novel's text-message scene.

We deliberately do not build tools for forging real documents, identity papers or credentials, and our Ethics & Acceptable Usepolicy prohibits using our output to defraud, defame or impersonate.
